International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has announced its finalists! Jeff's song "Eye For An Eye" has been selected as a finalist in the Blues category. The finalists were chosen from over 15,000 entrants from all over the world, making this an extraordinary achievement on Jeff's part, and we are very pleased to congratulate him and ask you help him win the Peoples Voice, if you choose to!!
All finalists' songs were posted online on February 5th as part of the People's Voice, an online voting contest that allows the public to listen to all the finalists' songs and vote for their favorite. The People's Voice is separate from, and in addition to, the winners selected by ISC's panel of judges. The winner of People's Voice will receive prizes (and bragging rights), so be sure to tell all your friends, family, so that they can choose to vote for Jeff! Entries are currently in the judges' hands, and the winners will be announced in April as soon as the judging process is completed. Among the judges are recording artists such as: Loretta Lynn; Jerry Lee Lewis; John Mayall.....And the judging panel also includes top industry executives such as: Charlie Walk (President, Epic Records); Monte Lipman (President, Universal Records); The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Peter Gabriel; Bruce Iglauer (Founder/President, Alligator Records)....
A $25,000 cash prize will be given to the 2007 Overall Grand Prize winner - as chosen by the judging panel! Incidentally the International Songwriting Contest has the largest cash Grand Prize in any songwriting competition!
